We started as a two-man operation in the East Midlands. Today we're one of the UK's most trusted resin flooring contractors — still family-run, still hands-on, still doing the work ourselves.
Our story
Built from the ground up.
KRF Resin Ltd was established by Lukasz Karmalita, a trained industrial flooring installer who had spent years working for larger contractors and seen first-hand how specification quality and site standards could slip when projects were subcontracted down the chain.
The founding principle was simple: do the survey properly, specify the right system, and install it yourself. No subbies, no shortcuts. That approach built a reputation across the UK that's still the foundation of the business today.
Since founding, we've grown from a two-man team to a crew of accredited installers, but the way we work hasn't changed. Every project gets a site survey from a senior member of the team. Every installation is carried out by our own people.
Specification first
We won't recommend a system until we've assessed your substrate, your environment, and your operational requirements. The right floor starts with the right survey.
No subcontracting
Every installation is carried out by our own trained and accredited team. We don't pass work down the chain — you get the people you met at survey, on site.
Nationwide
Our depot is in Retford, Nottinghamshire. That means fast site surveys, rapid response to issues, and no inflated travel costs. We know the region and we're here when you need us.

Full member of the Resin Flooring Association — the industry body for resin flooring contractors in the UK.
CSCS Accredited
All site operatives hold current CSCS cards. We meet the competency standards required on managed construction sites.
CHAS Certified
Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme certified. Our health and safety management meets the standards required by major clients.
Safe Contractor
Safe Contractor approved. Our health and safety standards are independently verified, giving clients confidence on every site.

Based in Retford, Nottinghamshire, we survey and install floors across the East Midlands, Yorkshire, the West Midlands and the rest of the UK. We support factories, warehouses and commercial facilities from first survey through to installation.
